Our Faith
- - We are a fellowship of ordinary sinners who have been given new lives by Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour.
- - We believe the Bible is God's written Word through which He speaks personally to people like you and me.
- - We believe we have eternal life only by faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus, God's own Son who came to Earth in the flesh.
- - We believe Jesus paid the punishment for our sins on the cross and has given us His Spirit to live within us.
- - We now are the children of God and belong to His Kingdom forever.
As a church we have adopted "The Baptist Faith and Message" of 1963 as a basic statement of our faith.
Our Vision
Our vision as a church is to be a fellowship in which:
- - We are faithful to our Lord and His purposes as we understand them.
- - We are free to follow the Holy Spirit’s leadership in worship and ministry without undue concern for failure, or traditional methods.
- - Every believer is loved, cared for, and encouraged in their new life in Christ.
- - Every member takes part in small group fellowship
- - Every member is a partner in the work of the Lord.
- - Family life is protected and encouraged.
- - Partnerships with other believers, churches and Christian organizations are sought and maintained to accomplish our common calling.
As a church the following are of particular importance to us:
- - Building true fellowship with Jesus and each other through Bible study, prayer, worship, playing together, small group fellowship, and by working together with God to do what He directs us in.
- - Discovering developing, and using the spiritual gifts God has given us to build up His church, and His Kingdom.
- - Reaching out to our community and to the World with the good news about Jesus and with His compassion.
- - Building up and protecting the family as the most basic unit of earthly and spiritual life
Partnerships we currently have with others:
- - Other Imboden Churches through the Ministerial Alliance
- - The Cooperative Program of the Southern Baptist Convention and the Arkansas Baptist State Convention.
- - The Cooperative Baptist Fellowship on the state and national levels
- - Koinonia Baptist Church in Ruacha, Kenya
